Chard

Soil: Like light, loose, well drained, moist soil high in organic matter.
Planting Time: Plant seeds around last frost, until 8 weeks before first frost.
Spacing: Plant about 6-12 inches apart.
Problems: Leaf Miner -
Harvest: Can be harvested at anytime. I pick a few stalks when ever I need it.
Pollination: Not Required
Seed Information: 250 seeds/ounce.
Watering: Chard enjoys lots of watering. A good layer of mulch will help maintain evenness in soil moisture.
Fertilizing: Chard benefits from higher Nitrogen fertilizers.
